Gorilla Jobs is seeking PGY5 ED Senior Medical Officers, ED GPs and FACEMs for high-paying locum work across regional and rural NSW and WA . If you enjoy acute work, like the balance of blocks and time off, and want to make a real impact, these roles are designed for you. You can choose: Short blocks (e.g. 3-7 days) 1-2 week rotations Ongoing or repeating FIFO patterns built around your permanent job or other commitments We'll talk through your experience, preferred locations and minimum rates before putting you forward. Clinical Environment - What to Expect Depending on the site and level: Broad ED casemix - trauma, acute medicine, paediatrics, mental health, minor injuries and procedural work Mix of solo and team-based shifts , with nursing, retrieval and on-call support Clear escalation pathways and defined senior backup (for FACEMs, you may be the backup) The chance to work in communities where your presence genuinely makes a difference You can focus on one region or rotate between locations over the year, depending on what suits your lifestyle and family or study commitments. Eligibility: PGY5 with strong Emergency Medicine/acute care experience (for ED SMO / ED GP roles) FACEM (or equivalent Specialist in Emergency Medicine) for Consultant-level work Current AHPRA registration and Australian working rights Comfortable working in regional/rural EDs with defined support and escalation pathways Willingness to complete relevant NSW / WA health credentialing and compliance Interested?
